Ceva were delighted to have been asked to sponsor The UK Sheep Farmer of the Year Award this year, which was presented to George and Nicola Wordie, who farm 554 hectares in Aberdeenshire with a flock of 1,040 Scotch Mule and Texel sheep. Their dedication to progressive and sustainable sheep farming earned them this well-deserved recognition.

The British Farming Awards recognises pioneering farmers across the UK, culminating in an award ceremony that brings together over 800 attendees from all sectors of agriculture. From science and technology to food production and sustainability. Highlighting the best of British farming innovation.

The award was presented by Craig Wright, Ruminant Business Unit Manager UK, who congratulated the winners on their outstanding contribution to the future of British sheep farming.

Nicola is well known for positive promotion of farming life online through her popular Livestock Farmher social media profile.  Check it out: Nicola (@livestock_farmher) • Instagram photos and videos

It’s inspiring to see farmers like George and Nicola leading the way with innovation, efficiency, and care for animal welfare. The Ceva Ruminant UK team are proud to support and celebrate the people driving progress in our agricultural industry.
