Ceva has added a 50ml vial presentation to its synthetic prostaglandin (cloprostenol) Cevaprost, for use in cattle fertility management and synchronisation.
Commenting on the new presentation, Craig Wright, Ruminant Business Unit Director for Ceva UK says, “Based on customer feedback and demand, we are pleased to introduce a larger vial option to our repro range of prostaglandins. This addition enhances the product’s usability in the field, where a larger vial format offers greater convenience and ease of use”.

- Licensed for use in cattle
- Active Ingredient Cloprostenol 0.250 mg/ml (as 0.263 mg/ml cloprostenol sodium)
- Available in 10 x 20ml vials or 1 x 50ml presentations
- Legal Category: POM-V
Equivalent licence: The licensed indications are equivalent to those of the leading racemic and single isomer cloprostenols available on the UK market.
Indications for use:
- Silent heat
- Ovarian luteal cysts
- Termination of pregnancy
- Induction of parturition
- Removal of mummified foetus
- Chronic endometritis (pyometra)
- Synchronisation of oestrus (within 2 to 5 days) in groups of cyclic females treated simultaneously
